kerugma

Kerugma is a Greek word meaning a message or a proclamation. In 1 Cor 1:23 Paul said, "but we preach/ proclaim Christ the crucified". Hence, kerugma is what is preached or proclaimed. Christ is our kerugma, our message. Although a kerugma of a crucified Christ appears scandalous and foolish, it is God's power and wisdom to make right every wrong thing in the world.
